I've seen A LOT of wooden boxes from Poland. Each one has a unique attribute that makes it stand out. This one? The design is Floral and very colorful. One more thing... it's only $9.95! For a hand made, hand painted box imported from Poland, that's not bad at all. Most of the boxes have brass that was hammered into the design. It's found on the perimeter of the floral design.
Almost all of the boxes are the same size. 3" squared and 1.5" height. They open on hinges and there's a small compartment perfect for some jewelry. They have a high polish and that makes them easy to clean.
These are quite a bargain. With the American dollar so weak, wooden box manufacturers in Poland are having a hard time. A vast majority of their sales are to the U.S., and I've even heard of one company which has been around for 54 years, just recently closed their doors.Click here to view more information about this product, or to order one for yourself!
