2011 is the year of Czesław Miłosz

In the 99^th birthday of Polish Nobel laureate in literature he will be honored in a special way. Current year has been declared in Poland and Lithuania as the year of Czeslaw Milosz.

The program of the Milosz Year will consist new editions of books, conferences, debates, exhibitions devoted to him, organized in Poland and abroad – from Krasnoyarsk by Vilnius, Krasnogruda, Krakow, Paris, New York and San Francisco. Its most important point will be the second edition of Milosz Festival, held in May in Krakow.

Poet, novelist, essayist, whose work has circulated the world and was not left without a response. His most famous novels, like "The Issa Valley" and "The Captive Mind" forever engraved in the history of world literature. Here you will find more of his works which are available in our store.
