Research shows that Poles are still cultivating the traditions associated with Christmas, such as sharing the wafer and eating meatless meals.

Slightly less declare a commitment to traditional religious practices: the participation in the Midnight Mass or prayer before Christmas Eve.

Continues to be strong is the habit of tuning the Christmas tree,and for the preparation of additional cover for the unexpected guest.
